More about me…
I am a midwest gal, born + raised, currently residing in Stoughton, WI. Most days you can find me snuggled up on the couch, re-watching episodes of the latest tv series out with my best friend + husband, Chris, and our dog, Sky.
I started to have an interest in photography in 2007, my freshman year in high school, when I got a job at a photography studio in my town. I started out assisting the photographers, + I would be a second pair of eyes for any details that needed fine-tuning. While working there, I asked for my first DSLR camera for Christmas, + I started taking all kinds of photos. Photos of my fellow theatre cast-mates, photos of my family, nature, etc. I truly enjoyed capturing moments + memories as a hobby!
When I went off to college, my busy music performance schedule kept me from spending as much time on photography. After I graduated however, I started taking photos for friends again - for their proposals/engagement sessions + just for fun. Again it was very much a hobby, + I didn't think about pursuing it as a business at the time. Flash forward to November 2019 when I finally decided to take the plunge into my photography business, + here we are!
Other than photography, I’m most passionate about music, dance + the arts in general. I’m also interested in clean skin care + beauty, sustainable fashion, supporting small businesses, + meeting/getting to know new people! I would love to photograph you, your family, you and your pet, or you and your special someone.
